DIANA GLASSWORKS

handmade glass creations

Versatile. Bold. Strong.

Diana Glassworks is a handmade line of borosilicate glass jewelry, drinking straws, and accessories that feature bright colours, cosmic designs, and ocean-inspired landscapes. From tiny pendants, simple and chic, to strong, bold statement pieces, Diana’s jewelry can be worn by any age and all genders. Her pipes, jars, tiny vases, drinking straws, and accessories are bold, bright, functional art for the home.
Diana’s glass creations are made of high-quality borosilicate glass. Borosilicate is strong and durable, as evidenced by its use in medical grade glass equipment and Pyrex dishes.

Diana Pearson began lampworking July 2017 on Hornby Island, a beautiful Gulf Island nestled in the Georgia Strait off the coast of British Columbia, Canada. She apprenticed with Chris Sorensen of Hornby Glass. With Chris’ guidance, Diana learned the foundations of flameworking in an action-packed three weeks. She fell in love with glass and its versatility from the get-go and can’t wait to share her art with you.

"We will sing of the great crowds who can finally free themselves from slavery of wage labor and through solidarity revolt against exploitation. We will sing of the infinite web of knowledge and invention, the immaterial technology that frees us from physical hardship. We will sing of the rebellious cognitariat who is in touch with her own body. We sing to the infinity of the present and abandon the illusion of a future."
 - Franco 'Bifo' Berardi, Post-Futurist Manifesto
